Yin Chua
~ the artist that paints peace

Growing up, societal norms and expectations of a traditional Asian family led Yin to choose a degree in Communications over an Art education. For years, she redirected her creative energy into advertising and photography – founding Red Ink Communications and Littlemissrabbit Photography. She loves what she does, but deep down, lays a nagging desire to pursue that childhood dream.

“To be an artist.”

In mid-2016, Yin finally made a gradual transition towards painting. Now, she finds joy and fulfillment creating her pieces.

Yin’s art is mostly inspired by the spiritual practice of meditation and her personal experiences and views on society. She hopes to be known as the artist that paints peace and strives to spread the message of self love through her art.

Yin studied Art during her Junior College years and graduated with honours from The School of Communications, Nanyang Technological University, specialising in advertising. She also used to paint at My Art Space.
