Yükselle’s work is an exploration of Realism in Fantasy. She has a strong passion to recreate nature in a nostalgic style on canvas. Organic shapes, and flowing patterns created by nature's magic inspire her. Yükselle’s paintings depict the moods and colours of the Great Lakes, beautiful Sweet Water Sea-Huron and Georgian Bay also the romance of the lakes district of Muskoka.
As a nature worshipper, Yükselle takes great pleasure in gardening, hiking, swimming, and photography and believes in nourishing the artistic soul with music and reading.
An adoration for nature is expressed on her canvases. Conceived through a unique impulse, these recent paintings are created in the style of “Realism In Fantasy”. In this series of works, you can sense hints of romance through evocative compositions of nature, executed with a modernist expression and abstraction. Her creations are displayed at her Southampton home/studio, she accepts commissions.

Impressions by art patrons:
“You see the soul of the landscape beyond its physical majesty. I feel like I am inside these places”
“Evocative, Ambient and Atmospheric”.
My tiny studio is a sanctuary in our backyard above a ravine. Wild life as deer, racoons, squirrels, chipmunks are my guests. The feeders are visited by all kinds of song birds. The garden is carpeted with periwinkles and lily of the valley. Lake Huron my major source of inspiration is 8 minute walk away behind our house. It is good to live by the Great Lakes.
What inspires you?
Lake Huron in the family of Great Lakes in Ontario and surrounding land such as Georgian Bay and Muskokas inspire me. I watch the sky for its changing hues, astounding formation of the clouds and the ever moving water.
