The reference photo for this painting was taken while paddleboarding on a very calm morning with no wind and hardly any current. Water has such a physiological effect on our bodies, it can trigger a response in our parasympathetic nervous system that can help to calm us, I hope this painting brings that effect into your space.
Framed in timber, the edges have been painted to ensure no exposed canvas is seen under the frame.
