This is Nice!, by Alanah Jarvis
That feeling of being outdoors, breathing in that fresh air and that overall feeling of ‘this is nice’ is what this painting represents. For you it may be the sun on your back, watching your family or pets, grass or sand on your feet or simply feeling content and at peace.
This energetic abstract has some metallic gold that changes in the light on top of the many layers of large brushstrokes and paint splatters. It appears to be an organic abstract, although the placement of colour, movement and light is intentional to create the right balance.
The edges have been painted to ensure a nice neat finish to ensure no exposed canvas is seen under a frame. This painting can be hung in either direction.
