About the art
Artist statement
"Unbound" is a one-of-a-kind ceramic sculpture by Ukrainian artist Aleksandra Krasnopolska.
This sculpture embodies the release of negative beliefs, the shedding of outdated dogmas, and the quiet triumph of inner freedom. Unrestrained by traditions or expectations, she dances to the rhythm of possibility, a reminder that to be free is to truly be alive.
An ode to liberation, letting go, and embracing the infinite potential within us.
Krasnopolska's sculptures are biomorphic, seeming to slide and shift as you walk around them. Krasnopolska's work evokes the beautiful female form, as well as the waves of the Ocean, where Aleksandra draws so much of her inspiration. The sculptures are made using a process that the artist refers to as "flow art." Every piece is a form of meditation.
