Artist statement
This abstract painting is about how chaos gradually takes form, generating disparate pieces that will later coalesce into a whole.
The background of the work is made using black, while the forms are highlighted in white, which emphasizes the structure of surface textures. Besides the work has a matte finish that makes the accent on the relief even more noticeable.
The sides of the canvas are part of the composition, so the painting is ready to hang without an additional frame. The hand-stretched canvas is signed on the back.
