Artist statement
This steampunk painting contains a large number of unusual details that are assembled into a complex, fantastical, incomprehensible machinery, like the machinery of our lives. The rich texture with the worn - effect adds a mystery to the artwork. This piece energizing the space with dynamism and a touch of the unexpected, inviting us to create our own interpretations.
The work is made in black and silver and has a glossy finish. The sides of the canvas are part of the composition, so the work is ready to hang without an additional frame. The hand-stretched canvas is signed on the back.
