Artist statement
This abstract painting demonstrates the characteristics of industrial style with its complex texture of surfaces and laconic colors.
The pronounced texture with the use of silver, gold, gray, white colors creates a complete sense of metal to embody the industrial spirit in painting. The surface of the work is covered with a thin layer of a glossy varnish, which enhances this effect. The sides of the canvas are part of the composition, so the painting is ready to hang without an additional frame. The hand-stretched canvas is signed on the back.
