About the art
Artist statement
This painting has both features characteristic of the steampunk style and the industrial style. So, the texture of this work imitates metal plates with many rivets, which is characteristic of steampunk, while at the same time, the combination of brown and various soft shades of gold colors creates a feeling of worn, old metal, which is characteristic of industrial aesthetics with its special attractiveness.
The surface of the work is covered with a thin layer of a glossy varnish. The sides of the canvas are part of the composition, so the painting is ready to hang without an additional frame. The hand-stretched canvas is signed on the back.
