Artist statement
This artwork conveys the feeling that comes when a rainbow is shattered and reflected in the mirror walls of big city skyscrapers.
The painting is made using multi-colored metallics: blue, green and azure with accents of yellow, orange, pink and purple colors. The glossy finish enhances its metallic shine and creates pearlescent shimmers. Depending on the lighting, the main color of the painting shimmers from light blue to azure and green. The work has a pronounced geometric relief, which is emphasized in gold, so it creates a feeling of real metal.
The sides of the canvas are part of the composition, so the painting is ready to hang without an additional frame. The hand-stretched canvas is signed on the back.
