Artist statement
Fragility has been a theme since last year, living in Victoria and studying again. There have been seemingly endless learning curves, restrictions and adjustments. I always return to my macro lens and the magic that I can find by searching through it. Even life's most fragile and decaying life forms become ethereal and remind me of the beauty we are capable of as human beings. There is so little left of this leaf and yet there is so much beauty in decay. This I hope to learn from.
