Artist statement
Lunaria Annua, or Honesty as it is known by many, has an iridescence about it. These seed pods have a magic that people seek and collect and hold on to. The way these small pods interact with light is what was most compelling for me. Scatter them across a table near a window and watch what happens. There is magic all around us, we just have to remember to look for it, take a moment to see, feel and notice.
