Artist statement
Form is a very important element in my work. I am interested in straight lines, curves, concave and convex forms. I place an equal amount of emphasis on posture, emotion and expression in my work. I love working with clay and bronze because of the freedom of expression it allows. My influence for this piece comes from the sophisticated frescos of the Minoan civilization from the Aegean Islands.
