THE ART OF LETTING GO
I’ve started working on this painting (and other paintings from the Pure Joy collection) in summer 2020 and it was all about letting go of any deadlines, pressure, expectations and finding joy in the process.
It was really hot & bright in my studio that summer and I was extremely inspired by the vision I had in my mind.
The process of creating this series was delightful, I was relaxed, I was feeling free as I wasn’t even thinking if I would ever show the complete pieces to the world. I was simply lost in creativity. It was all about creating something that truly resonates with me.
I was diving into different techniques and was experimenting and trying a lot! I was mixing my perfect shades, working with the flow of fluid mediums, building beautiful layers and simply following my intuition. The process was truly pure joy to me!
