The painting "Schoolboard Nr.9" is a part of the Science Art Collection by the artist Anastasia Vasilyeva.
It was made in the form of a classic chalkboard and looks like a real object. The painted board keeps the memory of our journey from ABC to complex formulas.
Anastasia Vasilyeva uses the multi-layer mixed media technique. She paints with acrylic and makes drawings with oil pastel on canvas. This combination helps to reach the depth of the whole composition. The visual composition combines color-field style with a deep green color and expression handwriting of the formulas. This piece of art represents a new vision of abstract expressionism.
Each green Schoolboard painting is numbered by the artist.
