Artist statement
Earth Connection by Andrea Edwards is an expressive, modern and abstract original artwork on canvas.
Its inspiration is particularly found in our natural environment, bush, open space and waterways. Shades and dilutions of warm earthy neutrals, white, black, accented with burnt orange and muted blues, soft grey and natural whites.
A pretty and decorative artwork, more minimal and abstract in approach, referencing some of my earlier works arising from powerful impressions of an Australian landscape.
This work is completed with a soft satin protective finish and matte white edges. Its feel within a room is gentle, calming and soothing yet expressive and quietly stunning, sure to make an appealing feature at home equally in a domestic interior or corporate space.
Ready to hang, strung with finger-friendly coated wire between solid D rings for easy, durable hanging.
Marked to show authenticity on the back and signed discreetly on the lower right face, Earth Connection will be packaged with care and delivery can be promptly organised for you.
