Artist statement
Tangerine Dreaming is an original with rich textural effects, mark making detail and is an expressive and rustic abstract on canvas. It’s inspiration particularly is found in our natural environment, the seasons and changing appearance of native plants.
Colours of the earth; shades, dilutions with subtle and soft warm stone, browns, sienna, terracotta, warm white, soft grey along with varied coral, tangerine and muted pink.
A vibrant, lively and attractive work.
This artwork is finished with a modern soft satin protective finish and matte white edges.
It’s feel within a room is expressive yet gentle and quietly stunning; sure to make an appealing feature, at home equally in a residential interior or corporate space. (This work is similar in approach and feel to Ambrosia Blue).
