About the art
Artist statement
This painting reveals to us a girl's profile head. Her elegant shoulders are bare, and the close-up emphasizes the intricacies and nuances of her face. She presents as a metaphysical image - something more profound than just a portrait.
Her hair is adorned with blooming cherry blossoms, symbolizing eternal spring, the cycle of rebirth, and infinite youth. She is surrounded by cherry blossoms, exhibiting her deep connection with nature and the seasons.
The girl's figure is wrapped and slightly blurred, as if she is in a light movement - this creates a sense of liveliness and naturalness. She appears like a young goddess, shrouded in the evening sun and flower petals scattered around.
This ephemeral woman seems to emerge from the depths of the fog, symbolizing evolution and eternal variability. The painting is part of the "In Search of Lost Paradise" series, and each of its elements contributes to creating a general harmony and atmosphere of lost paradisiacal beauty.
