About the art
Artist statement
"Intertwining Epochs" is a large original abstract painting executed in mixed techniques by the artist Andrei Filipovich. It is protected with a satin polymer varnish, signed by the author, and set in a wooden frame. The dominant colors are orange, turquoise, and purple (note the associations with maritime tones!) set against earthy hues.
At its core, "Intertwining Epochs" is a celebration of color, movement, and form. The figures, like fragments, splashes, dancing and floating, suggest joy and vitality. This image is a spectacle of metamorphosis and evolution, emphasized by the inclusions of white silver. The shapes intertwine and dissolve, reminiscent of excitement and movement, and promise the eternal allure of this artwork.
