About the art
Artist statement
Dreams have their own unique symbolic language that is often not easy to decipher. In this work I play with the idea of words and images that that have no immediately accessible meaning - meaning only emerges after contemplation and interpretation.
I mixed my own paint with fine art pigments which lends luminosity to the work. The collage was built over many layers of fine, dyed china paper lending depth to the painting.
Hooks and cord are attached at the back. Please note that the image of the painting in a home interior setting is for demonstration purposes only and not to scale.
The artwork is signed on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
