Artist statement
Recovery can mean being cured of an illness or finding back something that was lost. Healing can be obtained from the understanding that a condition of illness, both physical and psychological, needs to be followed up with medicinal actions and rediscovering what was lost both from individuals and society. The main requirement is to become aware of this sick state before being able to find a cure and then being able to share positive energy with those around. This self-awareness needs to be built continually, influencing other people until finally it becomes a collective awareness.
