Artist statement
This is a series from a few years ago based on the influence of popular science readings, which Annabel Andrews has always been passionate about. The look at the macrocosm and the stellar environment. She creates mental landscapes inspired by readings on astronomy and astrophysics.
It is acrylic and pigments diluted with casein glue. Worked with layers of paint and looking for the lights on the edges of the shapes. She is signed on the front and on the back.
