About the art
Artist statement
Geotátil is a series of works that focus on the relationship between spatial aspects and material expressions of the mineral universe. The raw material is ionic clay, extracted from the Rare Earth region where an artist lives. The clay in its wild state is mixed with reusable materials, such as paper and polyurethane. The result is sculptural paintings with volumes and reliefs that seek to incorporate the small and beautiful imperfections found in life and nature.
The frame is made of MDF and lacquered in graphite tone. It is 5 cm deep. Some reliefs of the frame project beyond 5 cm, as shown in image 2 of the product.
* Total measurement of the frame: 51x51x5 cm
* Measurement of the work on the frame: 50x50x3 cm
* With a signature on the back.
* Color: Raw
