Artist statement
This acrylic and crackle paste abstract painting reflects my cherished childhood Durga Puja experiences. Red signifies the feminine power within all of us, white mirrors the divine purity of Goddess Durga, and touches of gold echo ornate decorations. The textured layers bring to life the vibrant memories of pandals, where the goddess, surrounded by red, white and gold, evoked tradition and boundless joy.
