Artist statement
”The Beach II - Boat in Sri Lanka” is a painting inspired from my trip to Sri Lanka in 2017. Sri Lanka is known for it’s beautiful, pristine beaches. Every morning, we would see these traditional boats out in the sea. These beautiful, colourful traditional fishing boats would be back, parked on the beach in the afternoon.
