Artist statement
This work is part of a quartet of drawings (red, blue, green, and black) I created in 2016 inspired by my Daily Drawings Project which I began in 2015 and is ongoing. Using the mark making language and tools of my Daily Drawings Project on trains and buses, I created this quartet of drawings in the studio with a combination of intent and intuition.
