Artist statement
My employment as a glass caster greatly influences my approach in working with kiln formed glass. I am not interested in fabricating something out of glass, but rather my interests revolve around the behavior, characteristics, and the language of the material. Through an iterative process of unmaking and remaking, it is the rhythms, patterns, and formations that become the emphasis.
