Artist statement
This new Series "The show must go on" is inspired by the song of Freddie Mercury/Queen. The song was released a week before he died.
The show, used as a symbol for life, has to be enjoyed, and continued by those who remain, who must try to move on.
Mercury knew that he was dying. He fought up to the very end...
This powerful abstract statement piece is painted on a white ground. The size is 100cm W x 140cm H and 2cm deep. It is varnished for protection against dust and UV light, ready to hang. Edges painted white, framing is not necessary.
