Artist statement
During the pandemic I stepped outside and looked into the ocean, only to be greeted with the concept that everything was in suspension. My life, my love, my whole world.... I used that moment to recognize eternity and say hello, in full realization that only that moment existed and was eternal.
This painting was made with premium quality Goldan thick body acrylics and alcohol ink on hand stretched canvas primed with high quality gesso, manipulated with small blasts of air from a compressor and layered for effect.
