Artist statement
This artwork is inspired by Alex Katz, Lee Bae and Lee-JongHak
The massive majority is voting for Impeachment of the president Yoon Seok Ryul in South Korea. The Impeachment light procession is happening in Yeouido. An agreement toward Impeachment is blossoming on a huge golden tree symbolizing the vibrant city. This is significant because it is a major history that is happening in South Korea.
I choose the acrylics because the colors stand out and the brushstrokes show my intuitive skills on giving sparks. Blurry background is my exact goal to make my sparks pop out giving perfect focus on my main flowers/leaves and tree.
