About the art
Artist statement
There is, and I personally have, a great amount of interest surrounding Artificial Intelligence technology and especially its present use and application around Formula 1. Exploring the relationship between art and technology, this image is from the newest portfolio of an ongoing series delving into the surreal worlds of Formula 1 and its use of AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Having photographed Formula 1 cars from Montreal to Monaco and in between, I have re-edited and reinterpreted these beasts of asphalt in all their fierce glory.
For aficionados of F1, the burning question on everyone’s mind is not only how AI technology will be used in Formula 1 in the next few years, but how fast – and how far it will be implemented.
AI Drives F1 may be a glimpse into a not too far away future.
