Artist statement
The elementary forms I paint are built on different levels of space and give life to imaginary perspectives and horizons.
There is always a room behind to discover, a hidden part, a plane that gives three-dimensionality to the images that emerge from the darkness.
From a technical point of view, the picture is painted with pure pigments that have been fixed on a wooden panel, previously prepared with an absorbent base consisting of a mixture of stucco used for architectural restoration.
Some light glazes of acrylic color are subsequently applied to balance the color tones.
Due to the characteristics of the support, the chromatic result is extremely mat.
