Artist statement
Cosmos convention -1 is from The Bloom series created in 2021. Inspired by the garden planted by a free-spirited French chef who farmed our property for 2 years. In between the cucumbers and lettuce, she planted dahlias and cosmos flowers. This is a mixed-media series using my favorite two mediums. Photography and painting. They are printed in limited editions in 3 different sizes.
