Artist statement
'In the Weed paintings I paint weeds that we normally want to get rid of
as soon as possible. While these weeds are often beautiful and contribute
to more biodiversity and a healthier soil. I paint the weeds separately from
their natural habitat to be able to see them without prejudice and give
them the right to rehabilitation.'
