Artist statement
This vibrant abstract piece reflects a poignant personal story, started when the artist’s dog, Pluto, faced cancer, the painting was left untouched for 5-6 years, before its recent completion with a burst of multicolored emotion and faintly shaping a dog-like figure with golden outlines. A golden rectangle anchors the left side, while a delicate, elusive lotus flower crowns the dog’s head, symbolizing resilience and renewal. At the heart of the form, an orange heart glows, a tender tribute to Pluto’s enduring spirit.
The painting is sealed with high quality Matt-Satin finish with UV protection, the edges are painted beige.
This artwork will be shipped rolled in a tube, from the artists studio.
