About the art
Artist statement
An interpretation of the word "Hospitality" inspires this work. In ancient cultures, hospitality involved welcoming the stranger and offering him food, shelter, and safety. In the past, it could be an exquisite hotel space, a circus bringing people joyful dreams. Presently, it can be not only a safe place of isolation where people can feed their souls with peace but also a communal area where culture-clash and estrangement dissolve.
