About the art
Artist statement
This painting was a breakthrough piece for me and one in which I created a new way of working. It has been displayed in various art events in Barcelona and was on loan to an art consultant in Texas shown art art fairs throughout the States and returned to my studio 2 years ago. This is a large format work that is has a simple colour palette, just two colours yellow and blue. The background is expressionist created with a brush and on top is a pure vibrant yellow painted flat to contrast to the blue.
