About the art
Artist statement
This is my first Kaleidoscope painting created whilst living in Barcelona. It was my first vertical linear painting combining a myriad of pure colour lines painstakingly placed next to other in a seemingly random way. It creates a buzz that almost moves in the eye, whilst abstract this for me personifies life in a busy and often artificial environment. This painting was exhibited at art fairs in USA and Asia and then placed in storage by an art consultant and returned to my studio two years ago.
