Artist statement
This is one of my first paintings on paper from my Metropolis series. It is directly from images of architecture in London. The image is overlaid with layers of spray paint and ink on 330 gsm archival paper. The image is evocative of a city at night. This work is framed in a bespoke white tulip wood tray frame with the image floated to allow for space around the paper, the surface is glazed but can be removed for transport to avoid breakage. The framed dimensions are 90 x 90 cm depth 4 cm.
