Artist statement
This artwork is part of a "triptych" inspired by constructivism, the artist sought through the color gray to symbolize the color of cement, the blocks are like sculptured stones ready to be used in the construction of large skyscrapers. From this point of view, Cristina Begamo brings to this work a more realistic vision of the world using geometric abstractionism to attract the viewer's vision and put him/her in contact with his/her individual and sensorial reality.
