Artist statement
The imagery of decaying flowers is often tied to existential themes: the fleeting nature of life, the inevitability of death, and the dissolution of once-strong systems and ideas. The dark void into which the flowers recede functions as a metaphor for the uncertainty of the future in a post-capitalist world—an existential reflection on the collapse of systems that once provided meaning and security but now seem fragile or empty.
