About the art
Artist statement
In this series, the artist presents close-up photographs of wilting flowers adorned with makeup, transforming natural decay into a striking visual metaphor for society’s obsession with youth and beauty. Each image reveals the tension between nature's imperfection and the artificial veneer imposed upon it. Through this subtle commentary, the series critiques the commodification of beauty and explores the fragility of life, where the transient and the eternal are inextricably linked.
