Artist statement
In this new series, where decaying floral artifacts are bathed in glowing light, often backlit or framed with luminous edges, the imagery shifts from the darkness of the void to a more ethereal, transcendent space.The glowing light represents illumination—both literally and symbolically—shedding new perspectives on the process of decay and release. Instead of receding into obscurity, the flowers are highlighted, each petal and fold catching the light, suggesting a moment of revelation within the transition.
