Artist statement
FLOW 991MM is a striking wooden triptych wall sculpture that explores the intricate dance between geometric precision and organic flow. Crafted across three panels of varying sizes, the piece features masterfully carved channels that create complex patterns reminiscent of circuit boards, topographical maps, or neural networks. The natural warmth of the wood provides an organic foundation, while precise grooves cut into its surface create a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow. Arranged horizontally against a dark background, the sculpture's flowing lines seem to tell a story of life's journey, with each panel contributing to a larger narrative of connection and transition. The carved channels represent the structured patterns of human thought and decision-making, while their fluid movement acknowledges life's inherent unpredictability.
