About the art
Artist statement
A composition of theorized thermally imaged nuclear moons, intrusions of landscape segments and altered seascape. The work is constructed from layers of acrylic paint and oil paint, highlighted with pastel and chalk. Clear resin- pooled and isolated- gives the feeling of viewing the scene through glass and rain. Heavy multi - media paper has been mounted on reclaimed foam board which gives the piece lightness and strength.
