Artist statement
I have included myself in an oppressive space of whirling curves and sudden blasts of colour. ‘ Lydia’ in the film ‘Tar’ experiences her subconscious sense of oppression, dramatized in an uncomfortable dream. My discomfort I have sought to mirror in the distorted, ectoplasmic flesh emanating from nowhere.
