Artist statement

When I begin a piece there is no sketch, guide or even image in my head of what I want it to look like. I simply put wood to blade and let my hands and eye curve and shape the material at random.

It changes as my experience creating it shapes new ideas, teaches me new lessons and opens the way to more artistic exploration.
