Artist statement
An emotion is like a field of energy – it is projected around you each time you're feeling it. This is the way the artist visualizes the shadows in this painting – a persistent energy field that becomes an object in itself.
The work was painted in France on the roof terrace of the artists' studio. In the morning light of the fresh autumn sun. It reflects the artists’ persistence and passion for creating something truly breathtaking.
Part of the "Secret Garden" series of works, Autumn Sparkles is a meditation on the moment. Just looking at beauty for a second and enjoying what one sees. Virtosu's skill shows through each brushstroke painted on this canvas. A master colorist, the artist manages to bring the canvas to life and show the beautiful morning lights.
