About the art
Artist statement
This spectacular jungle was painted by the artist only using his left hand. This technique gave Virtosu an edge into creating a fresher feel to the painting and an impactful take on such a vivid subject: the mystery of the jungle.
It starts as a journey through into the richness of greens and yellow hues, and then there appears a darker background that gives an extra layer of depth to the perspective.
The artist is inviting you, the viewer, for a journey into the subjective and gestural expression of his subconscious mind. A tail of adventure and courage, of discovery and conquest. Certainly a tail with no end in sight.
