About the art
Artist statement
A gorgeous, majestic chandelier is shining light in a space. The light comes from thick, burning candles that emit a chain of smoke towards that goes upwards.
But there's more to this story than just what's presented - there's also the HOW of how this painting came to be: using nothing but paint tubes, the artist has created the chandelier and candles by squeezing every last bit of paint out of every tube.
The minutia and intricate detail that this expressive piece entails is made even more complex by the layers of thick paint that the artist has achieved.
A work that is definitely going to impress and generate discussion with your discerning and refined guests around the fireplace.
